Bay Area’s Women’s Trauma Specialist
Everyone’s story carries moments that can feel too heavy to hold alone. That’s why my trauma-informed approach creates a space where you’re met with warmth, respect, and practical tools you can use right away.
If you've experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, or an abusive relationship, you may feel like life has been divided into before and after.
Maybe you're constantly on edge, questioning your instincts, struggling to trust others—or yourself. Perhaps you've been told to "move on," but your body still reacts as if the danger is happening today. You know you survived, but you don't feel like yourself anymore.
You don't have to carry that alone.
Meet the Founder
Hello!I'm Chloe Melka, MA, LPCC (#20618), and I specialize in helping women heal from the emotional and psychological impact of trauma. My goal isn't simply to help you cope—it's to help you reclaim your sense of safety, confidence, and freedom so your past no longer dictates your future.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. Together, we'll make sense of what you've been through, understand how trauma has shaped your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system, and build practical tools that help you feel empowered again. Therapy isn't about forcing you to relive painful experiences—it's about helping you move through them in a way that creates lasting healing.
This work is deeply personal to me. While my professional training has given me the knowledge and clinical expertise to treat trauma, my own life experiences have given me a profound understanding of the courage it takes to begin healing. I know that recovery isn't linear, and I know how transformative it can be to have someone truly see you, believe you, and walk alongside you without judgment.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that our sessions feel both validating and action-oriented. You'll find a space where you don't have to explain why you're struggling or minimize what happened. Instead, we'll focus on helping you reconnect with your strengths, rebuild trust in yourself, and create the life you deserve.
Healing doesn't mean forgetting what happened.
It means no longer letting it define who you are.
If you're ready to begin that process, I'd be honored to support you.
